About the Speakers

Sumana Harihareswara, formerly Wikimedia Foundation

Sumana will be moderating this panel. She has mentored and administered Google Summer of Code and GNOME's Outreach Program for Women (OPW) several times, and is an Ada Initiative board member. Sumana was the engineering community manager and the senior technical writer at her former job at Wikimedia Foundation.

Aurelia Moser, Girl Develop It

Aurelia is a librarian and developer in NYC. In addition leading NYC's GDI chapter, she teaches metadata and data visualization courses, and develops open source mapping software and data-journo curriculum under current support of a Knight-Mozilla fellowship. In her free time, she contributes to art && code community programs and participates in hackathons for Data Kind, Hack n'Jill, Art Hack Day and Open Data programs. Full stack from data munging to code monkeying, she's happy to geek for social good where possible.

Gabriela Voll, Computer Science Major at Hunter College

Gabriela is a senior at Hunter College, majoring in Computer Science and Studio Art. A half-Colombian programmer and artist from New York City, she is passionate about creating; sculptures, photographs, GIFs, software, websites, etc, she's not picky.

Victoria Zhong, Computer Science Major at Hunter College

Victoria is a third year student studying Computer Science concentrating in bioinformatics. When she's not playing DotA, nor theorycrafting and playing Magic, she works on self motivated projects, be it programs, designing and constructing garments, or just general crafts.
